Getting through the dungeons in The Secret World is no easy task. Even the simple Kingsmouth dungeon, Polaris, requires some planning in order to get through it. For starters, if you are new to The Secret World, especially this weekend, the dungeons are signified by a purple icon. These challenges require a team of players, which is tip #1.
- You WILL need a healer and a tanker as part of every dungeon mission.
As you progress through the mission, you will be required to master specific tactics that will be needed to beat the bosses as you continue. These tactics will be introduced gradually, often culminating to a final boss at the end of the mission. In order to defeat this boss, for example, the Ur-Draug in Polaris Dungeon, every member of the team needs to be skilled in all of the tactics required to make it through the dungeon up to that point.
